Two largest Obamacare co-ops fold, 400,000 left without insurance

More than 400,000 Americans are now without health coverage as the insurance cooperatives created under the Affordable Care Act continue to fail. Two more co-ops closed their doors this weekend – the Kentucky Health Cooperative, which served 51,000 members, and Health Republic Insurance of New York, with 215,000. READ MORE >>

Senators Introduce Bill to Repeal 'Cadillac' Tax

Earlier today, Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nevada) and Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-New Mexico) introduced legislation that would repeal the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA’s) 40% excise tax, also known as the “Cadillac” tax. Starting in 2018, the ACA will impose a 40% tax on health benefits that exceed an established annual cost. READ MORE >>
